Laing fairly rare: Antrim, N Connacht. Scottish, "tall man".
Lang Quite numerous: Belfast, Galway, Sligo etc. Ir. Ó Lainn from Ó Flainn. However, the name is usually Scottish, associated with Clan Leslie. SI & SGG.
Layng rare: Dublin, Cork etc. See Lang.
