Ó Raigne	Rigney: cuíosach líonmhar: Lár na Tíre, Sligeach-Liatroim. Clann a bhí lonnaithe ag Garraí an Chaisleáin, Uíbh Fhailí mar a rabhadar gaolmhar le Ó Cochláin. Tá an sloinne ar aon dul le Ó Roigne agus Ó Raighne.
Rigney	fairly numerous: Midlands, Sligo-Leitrim etc. Ir. Ó Raigne (SI), Ó Roigne (SGA). Woulfe makes it a variant of Riney. In any case, this family were seated in Offaly and related to the Mac Coghlans there.
