de Nais Nash: líonmhar gach aird - sa Mhumhain ach go h-áirithe. Sloinne Sasanach áitiúil, "ag an bhfuinnseóg", a tháinig go h-Éirinn go luath. Bhí an leagan Ashe, as a dtagann Ághas i gCorca Dhuibhne, ann sa mheán-aois, leis.
Nash numerous: all areas, especially Munster. Ir. de Nais, Ághas (Kerry). A common English name "atten ash", long gaelicised in Munster. See Ashe.
