MacGlennon	Quite numerous: Down etc. Ir. Mag Leannáin, leann, a cloak. The name was associated with the Midlands. See also Glennon.
Mag Leannáin	Glennon, Mac Glennon: líonmhar: Lár na Tíre & rl. Sloinne Laighneach atá le fáil sa Dún, leis. Fréamh: leann = clóca, fallaing, ach ní thógfaí ar an léitheoir a cheapfadh gur leannán = suiríoch atá i gceist.
