Breheny Quite numerous: Connacht, Dublin. Ir. Mac an Bhreitheamhan,-Bhreithiúnaigh. (Judge). This name has been generally changed to Judge but also occurs as Abraham. The variant Brehon is rare. MIF & SGG.
Judge numerous: Connacht, Midlands etc. Ir. Mac an Bhreithiún (son of the judge) which also appears as Abraham and Breheny. MIF.
