Lacken fairly rare: Mayo etc. Ir. Ó Lacáin, Ó Laicín, according to MacLysaght, but Woulfe gives Ó Lacháin and equates it with Ó Lócháin & Ó Leocháin, an ancient family of Meath, dispersed after the Invasion. Lóch (radiant) was a first name in early times.
