Ó Reachtabhair Rafter, Raftice: líonmhar: Oir-dheisceart, Lár na Tíre. Bhí an chlann sa i gCill Chainnigh ar dtús; leathnaigh siad go maith - b'fhéidir go bhfuil roinnt measctha leis an gcomh-shloinne Ó Reachtabhra a bhaineann le Connachta. Préamh: reacht = dlí.
Rafter numerous: all areas, especially Dublin, South East, Midlands. Ir. Ó Reachtabhair, from reacht, decree, law. A sept of Kilkenny, the name is cognate with Raftery. See also Raftice and Wrafter. MIF.
