Keady Quite numerous: Galway etc. Ir. Mac Céadaigh, from first name Céadach (hundred-fold). The name was connected with the O'Moores of Laois and there was another group in Connacht. The sept Ó Meicéidigh of W Cork was similarly anglicised.MIF.
