Feehily Quite numerous: Sligo, Cork etc. Ir. Ó Fithcheallaigh (chess-player) of W Cork; sometimes Feeley and even Field and Fielding. Another sept of the same name occurs in Connacht under the form of Feehilly and Feeley, q.v. MIF.
Fehilly Quite numerous: W Cork. Ir. Ó Fithcheallaigh (chess-player). A sept Corca Laoi (W Cork). Also one of Síol Muireadhaigh (Sligo), where it is anglicised Feeley. See Feehily.
Mac Fithcheallaigh Mac Feely, Feely: líon beag: Tír Chonaill-Fear Manach agus scaipthe i gCúige Uladh. Is cosúil gur clann faoi leith iad sa, ón ainm céanna bunaithe ar an gcluiche boird a bhí coitianta in Éirinn in anallód. Litriú nua: Mac Ficheallaigh.
